So, now that Messiah Complex is over, and Cable's come back, what are your thoughts on the story arc?

Personally, I thought they could have done a little more with this story arc. Nothing really seemed to be resolved, Cable ran off with the baby to a different time, Xavier's likely to be a cripple again, Rogue was cured of her death touch, and Sinister was killed. Out of those things, I really don't see much of a resolution to what's happened in the overall X-Men story.

I didn't get to read all of it (the torrent I got the series from was screwed up) but did they save Layla Miller?

Layla's stuck in the future.

I don't really like that Cable's gone into the future too. Kind of a pointless ending :/ But we'll see how it all turns up.

The one thing I disliked about this the most was the fact that I was forced to pick up two books I didn't normally read all for a story that was unresolved. Sure a lot of things came out of it, and a number of things happened throughout, but what was the point when there was such an anti climactic ending? Urgh, I dunno, maybe it's just me.

Although, I did really love the final scenes with Nate and Scott.

And no, they did not save Layla. She's stuck in the future and X-Factor is currently angsting about it while the X-Men seemingly forgot. :/
